This was a fun book to read. The characters are familiar, but certainly not stock. They relate to each other in believable ways. Chris did a great job of filling in the what would be the dull parts of an investigation with touches of life and interesting details. It's a quick and enjoyable, and grooves along to its own path.Product details

This is a tiresome book, if it had been an actual book I would have skipped to the back to see how it ended. As it was I figured out the ending anyway. The main character never bathes, stays high, has no social skills,& eats massive amounts of junk food with out ever gaining weight because of her great genes. The descriptions of meals are boring, the story is flimsy, & the people aren't realistic in any way.
The story pulls you in. Definitely wanted to know where the story was going. Great detail in both characterization and dialogue which makes you more involved in the story. Good first book and maybe more to come? I would like to read more Natalie Aries stories.
